Sushi

with a view

Welcome

To Wisconsin’s 1st Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch partner. All of the seafood we sell is fished or farmed in ways that minimize their environmental impact. We focus on the future of our oceans, so you can focus on the most important issue of your present: Which roll & which cocktail best compliment the view from your dinner table?

Jason Morimoto

Executive Chef

“My whole life has been a mix of great cuisines. Fusion was something I learned early on by having traditional Puerto Rican and Japanese food in my home, and then every once in a while there would be a creation involving the two with each other or other cuisines. It is that creativity that has driven me to see ingredients & foods differently, but also have a desire to cook traditionally.”

Deanna Saiki

Bar Manager

(written on a napkin by Molly Szabo, a bar guest) “Most days you can find Deanna putting on a show behind the bar. Any bartender can make a great drink, but when was the last time your sushi was served with an interpretive dance?? Deanna is the queen of the bar & her patrons come from far & wide to visit her!”

Post-work Passion: Live Music & Futbol

Duong Nguyen

Inspiration: Everyone that surrounds me & unfamiliar ingredients.

Go-to Ingredient: Fresh limes & peppers, the hotter the better.
